Dallas keeps $2,000 found by honest teen

Dallas recently passed a law to keep money that goes unclaimed, instead of returning it to the honest person who found it. That law is bereft of common sense. What message does it send to anyone who finds something valuable? The idiotic law discourages honesty and screams out, "take the money and run, baby!"

Will they be shamed into changing the law? Only if they are inundated with calls and emails and called out on their foolishness.
